UN photo contest seeks pictures of peace [Worldwide]

Professional and amateur photographers can participate in this contest.

The International NGO “World Without Wars and Violence” has launched the international photo competition on the theme: “Peace Is.” There are two categories of entrants: general and students.

The competition is under the auspices of the Greek National Committee of UNESCO, the Greek Ministry of Culture and the General Secretary of Youth of the Greek Ministry of Education. The best 20 photos at the category "General" and the 10 best photos at the category "Students" will be exhibited in the photography exhibition to cities in Greece and abroad

The 10 best photos at the category "Students" will also receive a SONY DSC-S500 digital camera
The deadline is July 31.
