Multimedia journalism training offered [Worldwide] | IJNet

Journalists and communications professionals with competent computer skills and experience in print, television, radio or online media can apply.
The Thomson Media Foundation offers the Convergence Course 2012 to engage trainees with online, social media, news, data, mobile and ethics training, as well as learning audiovisual production for four weeks. This is an early call for the program and journalists are asked to express interest.
Trainees will also have the chance to work for one or two weeks with a well-known print, broadcast or online outlet in the U.K.
Based in Cardiff, the course runs June 25-July 20, 2012. The course is not free, but funding can be sought with Thomson Media Foundation's help.
