Photojournalists interested in microfinance and financial inclusion can enter a competition.
Organized by the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP), the 2012 CGAP Photo Contest asks participants to submit work highlighting the ways in which poor households use formal and informal mechanisms to manage their finances, save money, invest and manage risk.
The grand prize winner and the people's choice award recipient will each receive a US$2,000 gift certificate for photography equipment and accessories.
Contestants can enter up to 20 photos each.
The application deadline is September 3.
