Reuters seeks editor [Worldwide]

Journalists who have worked as financial editors can apply for this position based in London.

Reuters Breakingviews, a provider of insight to the global financial community, is seeking a Europe, Middle East and Africa editor. Breakingviews has a total of 17 people in the region with bureaus in London, Dubai and Madrid, and plans to open one in Germany

The successful candidate will manage a network of editors, columnists and production staff across the EMEA regions. Responsibilities include generating story ideas, edit stories, writing commentary and recruiting staff.

Applicants should have experience writing high-impact financial commentary, people management skills and through knowledge of economics, companies, markets and corporate finance.
