The Thomson Reuters Foundation offers a weeklong training program to teach journalists to report on the complex issues surrounding court cases and legal issues. The foundation offers bursaries that will cover accommodation and travel expenses for participants who are traveling to Johannesburg.
Participants will explore ways of producing accurate, fair, balanced and compelling coverage for digital and print media. The program will feature a mixture of expert briefings, discussions, practical writing and visual exercises. Participants will also learn useful legal vocabulary.
The course will take place July 14-18.
The deadline to apply is June 23.
